Time For Common Sense Government

For suggested signage at March For Our Lives
This website was created on March 14, 2018, to encourage students, millennials and other concerned citizens to GET OUT AND VOTE in all state and national elections.  Our present elected officials are not using common sense (many of whom are simply dishonest) in addressing gun violence and a ban on assault-style weapons.
Civilians have military-style weapons that enable mass killings because of the gun lobby.  As a result, Republican members of Congress refused to extend the Federal Assault Ban in 2004.  After the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 was introduced.  Unfortunately, Republican Senators defeated the bill.

VOTING is the only way for us to change the direction of our present government.  We have a dishonest, lying President who wants to be an autocratic ruler and a Congress that refuses to fulfill its constitutional obligation of checks and balances.

Over the coming weeks, we will be preparing a list of questions that must be answered by all candidates running for Congress this coming November.  We welcome your questions as well.  Please forward your email address to info@tfcsgov.org so that we can keep you informed of our progress.

EXPRESS YOUR ANGER BY VOTING!
